Fan Chart
The chart is split 4 ways. Don't worry if you're not sure of which time period your fave tracks came from, if you just send in one Top Ten list I'll pick the tracks to go with the relevant chart:-

  • A: Stuff up to and including Sulk.
  • B: Post Sulk.
  • C: 'Bootleg' stuff, ie. anything not included on official releases. This seemed to cause a bit of confusion. I'll let this chart include the Radio One Sessions album, any duet type stuff ie. Yello, Apollo 440 etc, live stuff, Glamour Chase AND B-sides but please state which version of the track if necessary.
  • D: Worst stuff. This one is just for fun.

Here's how the results are calculated. Each voter's top 10 list is given a score from 10 for their number one down to just 1 point for tenth place. If you specify only a top 5 list then the scores run from 5 to 1 and if your list isn't in order then each track gets 5 votes. So you can see that voting for your favourite can have a dramatic effect on the final outcome!

Here finally are the results of the 4 way chart!

Wow! 'Breakfast' was the clear winner but this time reduced from 27 points to 19. 'In Windows All' jumps from number 9 up to number 2! A surprise to see Her Only Wish in there,

It's good to see Empires Of Your Heart well up there, THE standout track from the unreleased Glamour Chase album.

With apologies to you sensitive souls out there! Helicopter taking over from Calling All Around The World' this time. The Rhythm Divine is still there and again voted by one... ahem, fan who is still a fugitive from the taste police :-)

It's Kinda Funny

I must say the Sparks album is excellent if you like soaring operatic vocals.
